Since the first Jasper Seminar was held in 1962, CELF has established a long history of hosting premier seminars.

Each year CELF brings together representatives from private firms, government, industry and academia to promote excellence in the practice and development of the law relating to the energy industry.

The Jasper Seminar affords opportunities for member professionals in industry, government and academia to present papers and discuss issues pertaining to energy law.

The Energy Law Fundamentals Seminar provides young lawyers at member organizations with a series of learning and instructional opportunities in the fundamental aspects of energy law and practice.

The East Coast Seminar is another premier event for member energy practitioners, held every three to four years, combining the presentation and discussion of papers focusin on East Coast issues with an opportunity to enjoy leisure activities with other members of the energy bar.
